Our Mission

To partner with organizations to teach individuals how to spend in alignment with their values, not from their ego.

To provide a practical approach to money that honors the spiritual nature of both people and money.

To end individual and collective distress, desperation, and suffering over money by equipping communities with the tools they need to build financial confidence.

Financially Fit Foundation is 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every individual has access to the knowledge and tools necessary to manage their finances with confidence and purpose. By partnering with organizations, we aim to create a ripple effect of financial empowerment, helping communities break free from financial stress and make intentional, value-driven decisions about their money.

Our vision is to build a future where financial literacy is not a privilege but a fundamental right, accessible to all, regardless of background. Through our free workshops, we strive to foster financial independence, peace of mind, and a healthier relationship with money—one community at a time.

Our Story

Hi, I’m Chelsea Galicia, and this is my mom, Olivia Galicia.

In 2008, when the recession hit, we witnessed many seemingly financially secure people unraveling. Friends, family, and strangers alike shared their struggles with my mom, curious about how our family and businesses remained unaffected by the chaos. As my mom listened to their stories, she noticed a common thread: they weren’t ruined by one catastrophic choice, but by a series of small, unintentional financial missteps. They simply didn’t know how to manage their money, and the consequences were devastating.

Our mission at the Financially Fit Foundation is to prevent this from happening again. We’re committed to showing people how to manage their money, save for the unexpected, and create financial stability. More than just surviving, we believe that financial control fuels creativity, fosters contribution, and provides peace of mind.

Why We Do It

My mom’s story is the heart of the Financially Fit Foundation. Born in Mexico to parents who never went to school, she faced immense challenges—her family’s first home had a dirt floor, and they struggled to make ends meet. But none of these obstacles stopped her. She came to the U.S. at 12, learned English, graduated college, and built a successful career in business and accounting. Thanks to her financial wisdom, I grew up with everything I needed—and more.

In 2012, my mom founded the Financially Fit Foundation to help others avoid the financial struggles she’d seen firsthand. She developed a simple yet effective financial system that anyone can use, regardless of their background or comfort with numbers. This system has been honed over 30 years of managing our family’s finances and running a business, and it’s accessible to everyone, even if math isn’t your thing.

The Team

Over the years, the Financially Fit Foundation has grown from a passionate vision into a thriving organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to take control of their finances. What began as a mission to prevent financial distress has expanded into a movement, partnering with organizations to bring our workshops to those who need them most.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals, volunteers, and partners who share our commitment to financial empowerment. Together, we continue to expand our reach, helping more people live financially fit lives, one workshop at a time.
