If you live in and around LA, I’m about to let you in on an open secret… you live in the world of sample sales.<\/p>\n

Once you go sample, you’ll never go retail.<\/p>\n

The savings are either significant or massive. I’m talking $15 or $20 for things you’ll find in retail stores going for $50 or $80 bucks… in the same season! Some discounts are even more dramatic.<\/p>\n

Sure, you’ll give up some luxuries – the sites can be cramped, you might have to do some digging, and the dressing rooms are not for the shy (it’s often a big open room where everyone changes).<\/p>\n

The biggest inconvenience is sleep loss – I try to get there as early as I can to beat the crowds and find as many things in my size as possible. And then I take a nap \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

These “sacrifices” are more than worth it.<\/p>\n

Don’t be stopped by the myths that the clothes are only for people who are size 0 or that all the clothes are defective. I got an amazing deal on a “defective” bathing suit because the tag said
\nIt’s easy to spend a ton of dough so be sure to go in with your budget in mind and buy only what you really love, feel comfortable in, and will actually wear.<\/p>\n
