I know… kind of a weird question.
First, because who even knows the answer to that (I do 😉 and secondly, why would you want to go through the pain of figuring it out? Actually it wasn’t hard at all to figure it out since every dollar I spent is tracked to an expense category and calculated every month. So I just added the totals from all 12 months and voila! (ok, so maybe I cheated I little by using our organizational kit which makes expense tracking easy).
It matters so that we know exactly where we stand financially, and if we are not satisfied (don’t worry, most people aren’t), we can determine exactly what we need to do to improve our financial situation. Personally, knowing where I stand financially gives me a sense of peace (and truthfully some relief!) to know that I have spent according to my budget (again, our kits makes this so much easier to see where I stand every month compared to my budget). I get to see exactly where my money goes. I can reflect back now and determine for myself whether the effort it took me to bring in that income was worth the lifestyle that it afforded me. I can plan for next year based on what worked and what could be improved. I can live a life of my own design.
Basically it means I’m financially fit and it feels liberating 🙂
The best part is that getting financially fit, and the feeling that comes with it, is also available to you. So come get yourself some! It’s yours for the taking.
The next round of workshops starts January 17. Take advantage of the best special we’ll offer in 2015 – $179.99 for all four basic workshops and our organization/budget kit (can’t be found anywhere else). Click here for details and purchase.
Cheerfully,
