Study predicts your relationship success by credit scores

By October 16, 2015No Comments
A report by the Federal Reserve Board titled “Credit Scores and Committed Relationships” found a strong relationship between credit scores and success in love.
It looked at the credit scores of people at the beginning of a relationship and came to 3 conclusions:
1) Your chances of getting into a stable and committed relationship go up along with your credit score.
2) People with high scores stay in relationships longer.
3) Couples with matching credit scores stay together longer.
In other words, those with low credit scores or who have a very different credit score than their partner have a high risk of breaking up or not getting into a long-term relationship.
It’s noteworthy that the study controlled for socioeconomic and demographic characteristics so this link is independent of race and income.
The study even goes so far as to say that credit score is indicative of trustworthiness.
Hmmm… whattaya think about that?!
