Why good advice is often useless

By June 18, 2015No Comments

We’re in a time of information overload.

You hear or read lots of great information and advice but it makes absolutely no difference to your life (and actually wastes your time) if you don’t know how to implement it into your day-to-day life.

Things like “get organized,” “spend less,” “save more,” “invest,” “know where your money is going,” “get on a budget/spending plan,” all sound great but we don’t actually do it. Why not?

Let’s take one of these as an example. If you haven’t saved, it’s not because you think savings are for losers or that you feel immune to emergencies. It’s that you literally do not know HOW to do it given your financial situation.

The HOW is the critical information that has been missing from financial education (the little out there that does exist). Without the how, the information/advice is practically useless. It’s time for some real help. Less “what to do” and more “how to do it.” Enough with the talk, come and we’ll show you how.

The very last two workshops of 2015 are on Saturday, July 18 – Banking and Credit Cards is where we show you step-by-step how to balance your checkbook, avoid costly banking and credit card mistakes and in Your Relationship with Money we’ll bring to surface what’s holding you back from being financially fit and having a rich life.

I would really love to see you there.
